Bio

Kashyap Patel, MD is a nationally renowned oncologist and Secretary-Treasurer and President-elect for the South Carolina Oncology Society. He has lived in three different continents. He has been working directly with cancer patients for the last twenty years. He is licensed to practice medicine in India, England, and six different states in the USA. He has served as chairman of several committees in numerous South Carolina hospitals. He has extensive research experience in the field of cancer, has published over 50 papers in academic papers and has won numerous awards for his research in cancer.

He is currently practicing as a full time oncologist serving five counties in the state of South Carolina. He has a passion of integrating a holistic approach towards the treatment of cancer and has pursued training in Holistic and Integrative medicine. He is the first board certified cancer specialist in the field of Holistic and Integrative Medicine in upper South Carolina.

Dr. Patel is writing a series of books on real life stories of cancer patients. His first book, co-authored with his son, Maharshi Patel, who is already a published author, is entitled From Raindrops To An Ocean is due to be published soon.
